This explains what we do with the personal information you give us when you contact Canterbury Removals or ask for a price. Plain and short, the way it should be.

Who we are

Canterbury Removals is a removals business based in Canterbury, Kent, providing house moves, man & van, business moves, packing, storage and international moving across Canterbury and East Kent. For any privacy question, email hello@removalscanterbury.uk.

What we collect

When you use the quote form or get in touch, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, the pickup and drop-off addresses, an optional moving date, and any notes. We only ask for what we need to quote and plan a move.

How we use it

• To work out and send you a price
• To contact you about your enquiry and, if you book, to plan and carry out the move
• To keep basic records of work we’ve quoted or done

We do not sell your details, and we don’t use them for unrelated marketing without your say-so.

Who sees it

Your details are handled by our team and, where needed, by trusted providers that help us run the business — for example the service that delivers form submissions to us, and our email provider. They only get what’s necessary and are expected to protect it.

Keeping it secure

Enquiries sent through this site go over an encrypted connection and are protected against spam and abuse. We keep your information only as long as we need it for the above or to meet our legal obligations, then remove it.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses minimal cookies. If analytics are switched on, they help us see how the site is used in aggregate; they don’t identify you personally. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@removalscanterbury.uk and we’ll sort it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
